'The Enemy' by Otto Strang

Octavia offers Liz and Rudi the chance to return to Earth. Meanwhile, Adam and Shem agree to return to Medusa with Fulvia in the hope that they will be able to inspire a change in social equality on their home planet. However, as Octavia, Liz and Rudi approach Earth in the Nemesis, the ship is attacked by a vessel belonging to the Medusans’ enemies, a race of vicious reptilian creatures. Unless they can destroy their fierce assailants, Liz and Rudi stand no chance of returning home alive…
